Chennai - An estimated three million people have been affected by one of the worst natural disasters to ever hit Tamil Nadu.

Joy Alukkas, chairman and MD of Joyalukkas Group, presented Rs30 million cheque to Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Jayalalithaa to support Chennai Flood rehabilitation programmes on Tuesday. An estimated three million people have been affected by one of the worst natural disasters to ever hit Tamil Nadu.
"Chennai is very close to my heart, people here have supported us greatly through the years," said Joy Alukkas.
