KOTC signs three-year deal with Microsoft

DUBAI - Kuwait Oil Tanker Company (KOTC), the Middle East's largest oil shipping company, yesterday announced it has signed a three-year enterprise agreement with Microsoft Corporation. The agreement confirms KOTC's continued leverage and deployment of Microsoft technologies, products and services. Microsoft platform: infrastructure, information worker, secure messaging & collaboration, integration and development tools, helps in successfully running and operating 34 oil tankers across the world.

"For the last three years, Microsoft products and services positively impacted our productivity as well as cost." Commented Hussein Al Hamdan, Chief Information Officer, KOTC. "Our company now works smarter and much more efficiently. The Microsoft Enterpriser Agreement helped us achieve compliancy and streamlined our technology acquisition and adoption process. Microsoft has shown value and gained our management trust to renew this three-year contract."
