Mubadala Development Company, which owns Al Maryah Island, is offering land plots for sale to build commercial towers.
The Island, which is home to Abu Dhabi's financial free zone - the Abu Dhabi Global Market, Cleveland Clinic and a shopping mall, the Galleria, is offering a selection of ready-for-development land plots.
"As the master developer of Al Maryah Island, we are offering third-party developers an opportunity to invest in this prime area of Abu Dhabi which benefits from first-class infrastructure and completed real estate developments," said Ali Eid Al Mheiri, executive director of Mubadala Real Estate and Infrastructure.
Speaking on the sidelines of Cityscape Abu Dhabi 2016, Al Mheiri said: "On Al Maryah Island, we have brought to life a visionary concept for a mixed-use neighbourhood which is integrated with the existing urban framework and meets the demands of businesses and consumers."
Mubadala is showcasing new additions, including the Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island which will be launched in May, and outlining progress in delivery of further infrastructure.
At Cityscape Abu Dhabi, Mubadala has offered opportunities for commercial leasing as well as investment in adjacent development plots that will integrate with the existing retail, hospitality and leisure amenities.
Construction has commenced on Al Maryah Central, a 3.1 million square foot mixed-use development that will include 2.3 million square foot of retail space. The super-regional shopping destination, which is set to open in 2018, will include the first international Macy's department store, Abu Dhabi's first Bloomingdale's as well as a mix of leisure, dining and entertainment options.
Further phases of the development, which includes towers featuring a hotel, serviced apartments and luxury residences, are set for completion by 2019. Two new bridges have recently opened.
