The 2007 edition of the globally renowned book introduced the 100-inch LCD TV as the first product in the 'Science and Technology Gadgets' section. The LG 100-inch LCD TV is approximately 1.5 times larger than the largest currently available LCD TV (82-inch) and is similar in size to the largest plasma display TV currently available.

Under the title, 'Largest LCD Screen', Guinness World Records lists specifics of the 100-inch LCD TV.

LG Electronics unveiled the 100-inch LCD TV during the CES Show, Las Vegas, earlier this year. By creating the product, LG Electronics has emerged as the first to cross the 100-inch barrier. The product also features the latest technologies, such as a maximum 3000:1 contrast ratio, colour reproduction of 92 per cent, and an omni-directional, 180-degree viewing angle based on Super IPS and super-large compensation film technologies.
