Dubai - Group is involved in philanthropy programmes
Dubai Police honoured Malabar Gold and Diamonds in recognition of its active and outstanding participation in various CSR activities in the region. Shamlal Ahamed MP, managing director, International Operations, received the memento from Shaikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, chairman of the Supreme Committee for the protection of the Rights of persons with Disabilities, in the presence of Major-General Khamis Mattar Al Mazeina, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, and other dignitaries. While handing over the memento, Shaikh Mansour expressed his appreciation for the group's involvement in philanthropic activities. Malabar Gold & Diamonds was honoured during the opening ceremony of the forum "Best Practices and Innovations in the protection of people with disabilities" which was conducted in collaboration with Rashid Center for the Disabled. The forum aimed to take advantage of best practices and innovations in the field of protection of persons with disabilities and for the development of government services provided to them . The forum was held on the sidelines of an exhibition in which companies offer latest innovations, practices and experiences specialised in the development of technologies for disabilities.
