Mall of the Emirates to unveil Dh1b extension on Sept 28

Dubai - These improvements include innovative architecture, new lifestyle options with 20 fashion brands, 12 restaurants and a completely revamped 24-screen VOX Cinemas.

Mall of the Emirates will reveal its new 36,000 sqm retail extension on September 28, Majid Al Futtaim said at Cityscape Global.
The Dh1 billion redevelopment project, Evolution 2015, will set higher standards of design, introduce new experiences, and pave the way to 40 new shopping, dining and entertainment outlets including world-class retail anchors making their debut in the Middle East, Al Futtaim said in a statement.
These improvements include innovative architecture, new lifestyle options with 20 fashion brands, 12 restaurants and a completely revamped 24-screen VOX Cinemas featuring advanced technologies.  
"Innovation is integral within Majid Al Futtaim as we live by the company's vision to create great moments for everyone, everyday.  By re-shaping Mall of the Emirates with Evolution 2015, we continue to evolve and enjoy a competitive edge and leadership position," said Michael Cesarz, chief executive officer of the Shopping Malls Business Unit at Majid Al Futtaim Properties.
Phase one of the project was completed in 2014 with the unveiling of the Fashion District. The beginning of phase two marks the addition of a new taxi rank located next to Ski Dubai, which represented a total investment of Dh10 million.
