DUBAI — Meydan yesterday appointed Singapore's Banyan Tree Holdings Limited, a global manager and developer of resorts, hotels and spas, as the hotel operator at a horseracing course it is developing in Dubai.
Saeed Al Tayer, chairman of Meydan, a 50-50 joint venture between the Malaysian construction company WCT Engineering and Dubai's Arabtec Construction, said that Banyan Tree will manage a hotel complex and an all-pool villa resort featuring Asian hospitality.
