Middlesex University Dubai and EDEXCEL into Strategic Agreement

DUBAI - Middlesex University Dubai, London’s first and only university campus in the UAE has partnered with EDEXCEL, the UK’s largest academic and vocational qualifications awarding body, to offer special benefits for holders of EDEXCEL BTEC qualifications.

This exclusive partnership will allow candidates who have completed BTEC National Diploma or Higher National Diploma qualifications awarded by EDEXCEL to complete a Middlesex University Honours bachelor’s degree with pre-accreditation. This will enable students to be placed at Level 2 or Level 3 of an appropriate undergraduate programme. Furthermore graduates with ND/HND qualifications who wish to articulate to undergraduate programmes at Middlesex University Dubai will receive a 10% grant towards their tuition fees. Dr Raed Awamleh the Director of Middlesex University Dubai Campus said that “Many who finish their ND or HND qualifications tend to go directly for employment without considering the prospects of further education – with this agreement, opportunities are not only made more transparent, but the pathway is easier”. Mr. Mark Andrews, MENA Regional Director for EDEXCEL expressed his pleasure with this agreement by saying “Middlesex University Dubai has taken a very important step toward encouraging people to continue their education by recognising and rewarding their past achievements and by offering to ease the financial responsibility this places on them.”.
