DUBAI - Paris Gallery is planning to invest Dh400 million in five new department stores in the UAE and 10 in Saudi Arabia and another Dh300 million in new outlets in Bahrain, Qatar and Oman in the coming three years.
Abdulla Al-Fahim, chairman and managing director of Paris Gallery, told this correspondent yesterday that the company would open five new concept stores in the UAE next year, including one each in Abu Dhabi Mall, Marina Mall (Abu Dhabi), BurJuman Centre, Dubai Mall and the Gardens Mall.
He said while all the new department stores will be having the new Paris Gallery concept, the old ones will be gradually refurbished in two years’ time. He also said that there were plans to further expand in Qatar, where the store is already present, and also add Kuwait and Lebanon to the company’s existing portfolio.
