DOHA — Qatar raised petrol prices by up to 14 per cent on Saturday in the Gulf Arab state.
Super grade petrol was sold at 0.80 riyals (22 US cents) per litre, up from 0.70 riyal. Regular grade rose to 0.70 riyal from 0.65.
Kerosene was unchanged at 0.40 riyal per litre.
Officials at Qatar Fuel Company said prices remained among the lowest in the Gulf Arab region.
