Qatargas and Spain enter LNG deal

DOHA - The Qatar Liquefied Natural Gas Company (Qatargas) is to supply 30 million tonnes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Spain's gasNatural over a 20-year period, from 2005. Qatar's LNG major has recently signed an agreement with the Spanish energy company for the sale and purchase of 2bn cubic metres, equivalent to 1.5 million metric tonnes per annum (MMTA) of natural gas, between 2005 and 2025.
