Samba receives two top awards from Euromoney

JEDDAH — Samba has received Euromoney's 'Best Bank in Saudi Arabia, 2007,' 'Best Investment Bank in the Middle Ease and Africa 2007,' and the 'Best Equity House in the in the Kingdom 2007'awards.

Euromoney has been giving these awards for excellence to banks and brokerage companies in the global banking industry annually for the last 15 years.

"We are so glad to win these awards in a short time after earlier winning three other awards — one from Emerging Markets and two from Global Finance. We consider (these) as one more affirmation of our high reputation and position on the local, regional and global levels," Eisa Al Eisa, managing director and chief executive officer of Samba, said in a statement made available to Khaleej Times here.
