His Highness Shaikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, has inaugurated the first Amina Hospital in Ajman.
Attending the official inauguration were Mark Adams, CEO of Anglo Arabian Healthcare, Salem Al Noaimi, CEO and managing director of Waha Capital together with Dr Amin Hussain Al Amiri, Assistant Undersecretary for Medical Practice and Licence Sector in UAE Ministry of Health and other VIP dignitaries.
The initial 65 bed multi-specialty hospital has the capacity to expand up to 120 inpatient beds and is located in Al Quds Road, Ajman, offering international quality standard medical services to the people of Ajman and the surrounding emirates.
Spreading 125,000 square feet, the advanced facility is meticulously planned and equipped with the latest medical and diagnostic technologies including four lamina flow operating theatres, delivery suites, advanced neonatal intensive care units with more than 20 multi-specialty departments.
Amina Hospital shall be supported by more than 40 internationally trained and qualified consultants, specialists and GP's with 250 support staff who offer expertise across a variety of specialist medical services such as cardiology, gynaecology, pediatrics, gastroenterology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, dentistry and general surgery.
Mark Adams said: "It is a great honour to welcome His Highness Shaikh Humaid, the ruler of Ajman to inaugurate the Amina Hospital. We have been planning this event for many years and we believe that a new multi-specialty hospital matches the rulers vision for a progressive and modern emirate which serves the growing needs of the local communities."
Salem al Noaimi elaborated: "Anglo Arabian Healthcare has built a strong portfolio across the UAE, and with this hospital coming on stream, we look forward to supporting the company in its next stage of growth."
Amina Hospital offers outpatient services during November before opening for inpatient care from the beginning of December 2015.
