The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) is allocating 50 new offices that are aimed at providing an inspiring environment for business entrepreneurs with creative ideas and innovative projects to be executed in the UAE.
The fully equipped offices are part of the chamber's Incubate Business Programme, recently-launched by the Sharjah Economic Excellence Network 'ShjSEEN.' The move will contribute towards supporting Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and boosting economic prosperity across the emirate. The offices will be free of charge; and beneficiaries will also enjoy a package of facilities; free consulting services, free membership in SCCI and commercial registration by the Sharjah Department of Economic Development.
SCCI launched its Incubate Business Programme in February for the purpose of providing a startup stage for initiatives to strengthen entrepreneurship and accommodating creative innovators and entrepreneurs. The 50-office plan strengthens the emirate economic status, both domestically and regionally.
Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, chairman of the SCCI, said: "The allocation of business incubates for SMEs owners and business pioneers is a reflection of the vision of His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and the patronage and directives from Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah for transforming Sharjah into an attractive investment destination for businesses and providing cutting-edge services for business incubates and programmes to support entrepreneurs and talented individuals."
He added: "SCCI exerts intense efforts in supporting and motivating entrepreneurs to establish and develop their projects by providing them with the convenient working environment, facilities and logistic services that empower them to launch successful investment projects and contribute in the prosperity of the economy of the emirate."
