Sonu Sood lauds Zenofar Fathima's The Peril2

dubai - It is a social awareness short film on the perils of addiction to technology

Zenofar Fathima, CEO of Zen Productions, asked Indian actor and fitness freak Sonu Sood about her upcoming social awareness short film The Peril2 while he was in Dubai recently.

Fathima said: "At the launch and screening of The Peril in July this year, I received thunderous applause and exceptional appreciation from the highest dignitaries present, and that inspired me to extend this message to a wider audience. Thus, I decided to come up with the next series called The Peril2, under the Enigma series. The upcoming short film focuses on the importance of a parent's involvement in how to prevent their child from getting addicted to the Internet or digital games."

Sood, a well-known actor in both Bollywood and South Indian films, and a responsible father, extended his views about the online peril caused to children via electronic gadgets. He said: "It is very important for parents to keep an eye on their children, so that they may not get addicted and fall prey to online foes. Our childhood involved more of outdoor activities and I still miss those days of fun and thrill. My sons Ishant and Ayaan are always being influenced and supported to play outdoor games."

Sood appreciated Fathima for the message that The Peril2 is about to disseminate to the public and said it was his pleasure and honour to be asked his opinion on such a great piece of work. He would also extend his support as an actor if he is given an opportunity in Fathima's upcoming projects. "Dubai is like a second home for me. Some of my blockbuster movies were shot in this city," the actor said.

Fathima, who was shared screen space with well-known Indian and Hollywood actors like Cassey Shannon, Rahul Dev, Mukul Dev and R. Madhavan, is also looking forward to work with Sonu Sood in her upcoming projects.

A social awareness short film, The Peril2 is a project of Zen Productions and the fourth short film that sharers a social awareness message. An actor and producer, Fathima said The Peril2 has a message that can change the public's perception on modern addictive technology. The movie is awaiting a September release in the presence of the UAE's highest dignitaries, well-known actors and under the patronage of Fathima's friend Princess of Sharjah Sheikha Hend Al Quassemi.
