Looks like Samsung fans - and possibly even those new to the brand - continue to 'flip' out in the UAE.
The South Korean device-maker on Sunday announced that its newest foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Z Flip, has once again sold out for the second time.
Samsung started selling the Z Flip on February 14 and was sold out in just a day. It restocked on February 18 with the same result within days.
As a result, the company announced that it will have another supply replenishment on February 26.
"The team is very encouraged by the positive response towards the Galaxy Z Flip in the UAE," Osman Albora, head of Samsung Gulf Electronics' mobile division, said in a statement to Khaleej Times.
"We have also seen a strong demand for the Mirror Purple colour variant which has proven to be highly popular with the UAE consumers. We are glad that the beautiful Galaxy Z Flip has resonated well with our customers and the team is sparing no effort to bring in even more Galaxy Z Flip into the hands of the UAE consumers".
Samsung says the device marks the beginning of a new decade of foldable mobile innovation. Its first foldable device, the Galaxy Fold that was launched last year, also received positive reviews.
The Galaxy Z Flip features an industry-first foldable glass display, and has a unique 'Hideaway Hinge' and custom-built UX to provide sophisticated new ways to experience content.
The smartphone comes with 256GB internal storage and is priced at Dh5,499 in the UAE.
