Mohammed Muhanna Al Qubeisi, director of the department, said they had also reviewed with the Japanese delegation ways of bolstering trade exchange and identified a number of projects that could be developed by both parties, mainly in education and health sectors.
“Japan is a major trade partner in the region and there are 85 Japanese firms operating in the country, out of which 48 are functioning on a Japanese-UAE partnership basis. The figure is set to increase,” Qubeisi said.
