The Al Ain Aerobatic Show 2006 will begin on January 11 under the patronage of Lieutenant General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. The Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority, UAE Air Forces and Air Defence have organised the five-day event.
Aerobatic teams from all over the world will participate in the air show.
Mubarak Hamad Al Shamsi, Member of the Air Show Committee, made it clear that the new round of the Al Ain Aerobatic Show will focus on family tourism in Al Ain city, by providing the public with all services and means to enjoy this international event.
Al Shamsi added that the Aerobatic Show 2006 will include a heritage village, a kids playground and a family recreational area. Numerous students from colleges and schools will also attend this major event.
