It is said she will star in Regal Films, 'Desperada,' along with the controversial Ruffa Gutierrez and another controversial actress Rufa Mae Quinto. But the bigger news we heard is that she is most likely starring in the Hollywood remake of the local horror flick 'Sigaw,' directed by Yam Laranas, which got several rave reviews from the Philippines and abroad.

Reportedly, 'Laranas', a critically-acclaimed horror film, which was shown locally in 2004 under Regal Entertainment, will use the title 'The Echo' for its international release. Iza is being considered to play the battered wife character, Anna, the same role that won her an award for the said movie.

The foreign producers were so impressed with Iza's performance that they immediately thought of calling her over to be included in the cast. Hollywood actor Jesse Bradford will play the lead male character role, while British actress Amelia Warner will take on the girlfriend role. These characters were originally portrayed by Pinoy stars Richard Gutierrez and Angel Locsin.

Iza is likewise glad to be reunited with Director Topel Lee in 'Ouija' since she's Topel's lead star in the first mainstream film he did, the 'Yaya' episode of 'Shake Rattle & Roll 8' that was a big hit. "Now, it's a full-length film that we're doing and I'm also happy to be acting with Juday and Jolina," she says.

Meanwhile, Iza and Sunshine Dizon are without doubt today‚s most sought-after drama queens on television. They have worked together in 'Kung Mawawala Ka' and as majestic sisters in 'Encantadia,' both Kapuso Network's primetime programmes.
