Indian films are known for their over-the-top histrionics, especially the action sequences - where actors are 'notorious' for surviving bullet shots from a machine gun and thrashing a hundred goons single-handedly! But a recent Tamil serial TV clip has taken it to the next level.

A clip from a recent episode of popular Tamil soap, Chandralekha, has gone viral - showing an actress shot in the head by a sniper, but does not die instantly.

Giving 'hamming' a whole new meaning, the actress can be seen not only indulging in an emotional conversation with a man (who may be her husband), but she also asks him to get her her 'gajra' that fell from the man's hand a while back, in a nearby temple.

While laying in the lap of her husband, instead of seeing her life flash by in front of her eyes in her final moment, the woman asks the man to play a memorable clip on his phone.

All this, after she was shot by a powerful sniper gun exactly between the eyes!

The 2-minute-long clip from the July 23 episode has gone viral on facebook. Posted on Facebook by R.Udaya Bharathi, the post has garnered over 2.7 million views and got over 44,000 shares.
