Eloy helps keep people fit

Eloy Rodriguez is a strength and conditioning coach. Working out of D5 Gymnasium (www.d5dubai.com), his typical day involves working with highly stressed individuals. He helps them rebalance their total health, well-being and fitness so that they can achieve their goals. Eloy also works with athletes to help them improve their overall performance. Eloy started his career a few years ago as a Crossfit trainer in the UK. But, it was in Kuwait that he found his niche for helping people work through injuries. This happily brought him to join a medical centre in Dubai where Eloy helped people going who were going through pre or post surgery. Combining all these aspects, Eloy now works at D5 in DIFC, helping people stuck in a rut. Those who come to him are the ones that can't find a solution to their various problems.

Sunshine Time
After finishing work on Fridays, I ususally take my jeep off road to explore the UAE desert. Being an ex military man, I miss the outdoors, and taking my jeep off the beaten track and being away from the city helps me recharge and destress. Dubai Off-Roaders are a great group of people, who've taught me to master dunes - the size of mountains!

Scrumptious Breakfast
I must admit I am a sucker for pancakes. who doesn't like them?  So far my go to place is the Surf House Cafe, where I can 'inhale' the banana pancakes they serve. Plus you can't beat their speciality cold-brew coffee.

Beach Life
I enjoy partying and have fun, but I prefer spending my Saturdays relaxing on Palace Beach, listening to music and having a good conversation with friends.

Health Pass
Outside of training myself in the gym, I frequent Thabet Al Taher's Brazilian Jiu Jitsu mats. It's the sport I train in and it  helps me to test my strength. Hopefully, later this year, I'll return from injury and be able to compete again.
