The excitement was high among Bollywood fans in Dubai who were hoping to catch a glimpse of their favourite stars as the filming of producer Gaurang Doshi's Hindi web series 7th Sense began in the emirate. It is the first large-scale production to hit up our shores in the aftermath of the pandemic that saw cinema theatres shut and public venues restricted for residents and tourists alike.

But now, it might come as a bit of disappointment for fans to learn that a key actor has parted ways with the series. Ameesha Patel who landed in Dubai for the shooting last week, we have reliably learnt, has decided to opt-out of the web series.
When contacted by City Times, the Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai star, who made a splash with the Hrithik Roshan starrer way back in 2000, did not reveal much except to say; "I am not part of the 7th Sense anymore."
Ameesha flew back to Mumbai on September 2, after reportedly a few days of shoot with the cast.
"I do not want to get into the reasons as to why I'm quitting the series," the actress told us from Mumbai.
"All I can say is that I'm parting ways with the producer and I won't be coming back to Dubai to shoot for 7th Sense. However, I will be returning to Dubai for some other work for sure," she added.

Directed by Karan Darra, the murder mystery stars R Madhavan, Prateik Babbar, Elli AvrRam, Ronit Roy, Chunky Pandey and Tanuj Virwani, amongst many others. All of them have been posting their excitement to get back to work on their respective social media posts.
Crew members arrived in Dubai earlier last month and the series was expected to start filming towards the end of August. However, with Patel out of the series, it remains to be seen how the void will be filled.
