The new changes will be effective from the next academic year where the beginning of the year will be from September 2, instead of April, and the year will end in mid-July, where earlier it used to end by March of every year.

The ministry issued a circular yesterday and distributed it to the schools after a recommendation from the Pakistani Educational Council for the secondary stage. The council also decided that the students of the Grades X and XI would continue with their external exams for the current academic year and the next.

Meanwhile, the students of nursery schools until Grade IX will follow the authenticated educational schedule of the current academic year along with the schedule of examinations, holidays, registration and admission.
