Actor Johnny Depp handed over a poetry book from his personal collection to his “The Rum Diary” director Bruce Robinson.
Depp showed off his collection of pricey paintings and rare book manuscripts to Robinson, Dailystar.co.uk reports.
Robison revealed that when he returned home he found that Depp had secretly placed a volume of French poetry in his suitcase.
“I don’t know how Johnny gets everything done. With the books, it isn’t just a first edition of T.S. Eliot, it’s the manuscript. He showed me a first edition of Les Fleurs Du Mal inscribed by Baudelaire. I couldn’t believe it. Then when I got home, I found Johnny had slipped it inside my suitcase,” said Robinson.
