Kendrick Lamar to headline Yas After Race concert

We are super excited to hear that Grammy-winning artist Kendrick Lamar has been confirmed to play at the Yasalam After-Race Concert on Friday, November 24.
The American rapper's performance at the du Arena will complete the four-day entertainment line-up at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Lamar will join DJ Calvin Harris playing on Thursday, November 23, Mumford & Sons playing Saturday, November 25, and pop diva P!NK on Sunday, November 26.

"We are thrilled to welcome music sensation, Kendrick Lamar to the Capital for his debut performance to entertain the crowd with his fresh and energetic stage presence, snappy lyrics and captivating personality," said John Lickrish, CEO of FLASH Entertainment.

Organisers have also revealed that an extra 1,000 three-day tickets for Abu Dhabi Hill will be available for purchase. Starting at Dhs995, the ticket will provide holders access to Thursday Pit Lane Walk, all four days of racing as well as all four days of the Yasalam After-Race Concerts.

For those wishing to upgrade their race experience, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday Golden Circle upgrades are available for the Yasalam After-Race Concerts, starting from Dhs195. The upgrades are available to buy now at www.yasmarinacircuit.com.

Accolades for Lamar
Over the course of his career, Lamar has won seven Grammy Awards. He embarked on his musical journey as a teenager under the stage name K-Dot, and quickly gained recognition in 2011 following the release of Section 80. In early 2013, MTV named Lamar the number one Hottest MC in the Game, on their annual list. Time named Lamar one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2016.
