Korean actor Sung Hoon fulfils his 'Promise' to UAE fans

The suave South Korean actor Sung Hoon, who's known for his lead roles in TV series My Secret Romance and Noble, My Love, will return to Abu Dhabi on October 12 for a special fan meeting, organised by The Maryam Studio Events.
This time, he will be accompanied by an additional group of charming personalities - Bawool and Sejin, members of a K-Pop unit The King, as well as street-savvy models Joowon Dae and Oh Dawit - to light up the stage.
The event called 'Promise' at Abu Dhabi Theatre is set to be a two-hour interactive session, complete with fun activities, music and games, alongside an exclusive fan signing option for VIP attendees.
Sung Hoon's last visit to Abu Dhabi in October 2017 gathered around 400 fans. This year also looks promising, said Mariam Al Shehhi, Founder of The Maryam Studio Events, as the event's VIP tickets were sold out in four minutes. The regular and gold tickets are still available at Dh120 and Dh220, respectively. 
"Fans are excited to see Sung Hoon's DJ'ing skills, and can look forward to find out more about his upcoming dramas at the event," she added, referring to his new series scheduled for release in November - the remake of a web toon, Sound of your Heart, and romcom, I Picked up a Celebrity on the Street.
Armed with chiseled good looks and infectious charm, Sung Hoon recently won the title of Korean Model Star 2018 at the 13^th Asia Model Awards, as well as the Best Entertainer Award 2017 at the 2^nd Asia Artist Awards.
The actor joins the list of heartthrobs who have visited the UAE as part of the "Hallyu Wave", a phenomenon that celebrates South Korea's vibrant pop culture.
Fanmeet aside, visitors can also indulge in the '86M Fete Market bazaar at the venue, featuring stalls with Korean cosmetics, accessories, K-Pop merchandise and delicious dishes, from 1pm to 7pm.
