While Traffic Signal has her in a deglamorised role, Rasiya Saajan has her looking exotic.

"Rasiya Saajan is a great music album and what is more exotic is the way the album has been picturised. The director has taken pains to ensure that I realy look beautiful while doing my kathak steps in the classical based album," says Chandra about the director S Ramachandran.

Neetu is also expecting a lot from Traffic Signal. "I got a call from Madhur's office asking me to do the audition for the film. After the audition Madhur seemed happy with me and narrated the story to me. I told him that I would not disappoint him if selected to do the film and he did seem happy when the film ended," says Neetu.

Neetu plays the role of a garment seller on the street. "I play the role of Rani, a girl who from Gujarata Rajasthan border who sells handmade garments and stuff at traffic signals. I actually went over to signals and stood there for a few days observing people. I also went and sat with these garment sellers and learnt a lot on their behaviour, sipped chai with them to know what the entire life was all about before I did the role. It was great fun and a learning experience for me," says Neetu.

An actress has loads of expectations from Madhur Bhandarkar's movies because his films are always women oriented. "I am a newcomer though. But yet, I have been given a good role in the film where I can perform. In my earlier film Garam Masala I got an opportunity to showcase myself as a very modern girl. But this film will prove that I am an actress. And my album Rasiya Saajan will show the world that I really look beautiful and not as dark complexioned as how Rani is seen in Traffic Signal as well."

But the promos are fetching rave reviews for Neetu. "People are already calling and complimenting me on the film. I want to really make a mark with this film and video," says Neetu.
