Santana to light up Dubai

GUITAR ICON and Grammy winning, recording legend Carlos Santana will perform at Dubai Festival City (15,000 Capacity Outdoor Arena) on February 15th 2008.

This will be Santana's first ever, and exclusive, Middle East performance.

With in excess of 90 million record sales to date, The 'Live Your Light' tour will showcase some of Santana's greatest hits from over the years and once again provide the public an incredible opportunity to see one of the world's most prolific and successful artists live in action.

Santana is currently back in the music headlines with his latest single 'Into the Night'and greatest hits release Ultimate Santana (SONYBMG).

"Santana is one of the most requested artists here in the Middle East," says Mirage Promotions Managing Director Elissa Murtaza.

"It will be a memorable Dubai event, with great access road systems, parking facilities and a fantastic back drop to the show provided by the Creek itself," says Thomas Ovesen, General Manager Mirage Promotions.

As a Key Event of the Dubai Shopping Festival 2008 the Santana event will be staged on the premises of the main DSF venue, Dubai Festival City

Santana will perform in a strictly limited 15,000 pax only arena — ticket prices start at Dh295 but you can get 10 per cent discount if you pay with your MasterCard - tickets and event details will be available from today on www.santanadubai.ae at 23:59. A limited amount of offline ticket will be available from Virgin Megastores in UAE and Hard Rock Café Dubai.
