The General Business and IT students at Al Ain Women's College have established their own Falcon Eye for Gifts Company. With this company, they hope to develop a market to sell unique gift products.
The students hosted a product Exposition on recently. Dr Neal Mangham inaugurated the event. Over 40 gift products, many commemorating the heritage of the UAE, were displayed. Visitors placed orders for gift items, relaxed in the majlis and learned more about this innovative entrepreneurial endeavour.
Karen Asenavage, Supervisor at Al Ain Women's College, said, “The girls have learned the basics of running a small profit-making business and have produced a profit over the past three semesters. More importantly, they are developing the core skills necessary for them to be competent and successful in the workplace. They have the business, IT and English skills along with the initiative to be an asset to employers in the Abu Dhabi emirate.”
