viAnd what about the Indian men, why are they being ignored?

"Can't think of anyone from India. And actually, if I take just one name, others will get offended," she grins.

Vidya has been busy shooting for Lucky Charm, which also stars Shahid Kapur.

It was during the shooting of this movie that the rumours of Vidya being the reason for Shahid-Kareena break-up started circulating.

"I really found it quite strange. The two people who are being discussed here know what went wrong. And I really don't know why I was dragged into this one!"

But this is not the only reason why Vidya has made news in the recent past. Her western look has also been a bit of a question mark.

"The only film in which I had a western look was Heyy Babyy. After the film, I have become more careful. It was just bad timing. Manish Malhotra wasn't there for stylising the look. I don't know why he wasn't there but I am not blaming him.

But if Vidya had her share of brickbats, there were bouquets too.

Amitabh Bachchan complimented her by saying that when Vidya comes on screen, it is hard to concentrate on anything else.

"Mr Bachchan is a very kind and generous man. He left me speechless with this compliment and I will always cherish it. It's very humbling to hear something like this from him," she blushes.

Compliments apart, Vidya is not really known for making friends in the industry.

"I am slightly reticent. I need to know people before I open up. But once I do, I am a livewire. Thankfully people have not taken this as arrogance. Raima Sen is my only friend in Bollywood. As far as emotional sustenance is concerned, I have my family and friends. I am not the partying sort and I am in Bollywood for work."
