Watch cinema history at Abu Dhabi's Manarat Al Saadiyat

The director, Mark Cousins, allows the audience to witness the evolution of international cinema through each episode.

IF YOU'VE EVER wanted to learn about cinema history here's a great opportunity. Image Nation, in partnership with TCA Abu Dhabi, is hosting a series of film screenings at Manarat Al Saadiyat every alternate Sunday. Curated by veteran film historian Peter Scarlet, the program is titled 'The 7th Art' and was launched in the beginning of October with the first two episodes of the documentary The Story of Film: An Odyssey. The series is set to host its next screening today.
The director, Mark Cousins, allows the audience to witness the evolution of international cinema through each episode. The series unravels the elements that turned cinema into a multi-billion dollar industry, with a guided tour of the greatest movies ever made.
Film enthusiasts will also have the opportunity of participating in a post-screening discussion with Peter Scarlet at FANR Restaurant at Manarat Al Saadiyat.
