Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan - visiting Dubai to promote his upcoming film 'Raees' - stopped a press conference on Saturday to meet a royal member of the Dubai family.
The 51-year-old actor was addressing the media at Bollywood Parks, when he excused himself midway for a while as he had to meet a UAE royalty.
"Please, excuse me for a few minutes as I have to meet His Royal Highness. We will continue this after."
So who was the royal member? His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler's son Shaikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The young Shaikh is often seen at local film awards, especially the Dubai International Film Festival.

Shaikh Mansoor is President of the Dubai International Marine Club, a member of the UAE Armed Forces - who has served in Yemen - and was also part of the team involved in the New Year's Eve Address Hotel fire rescue operation in 2015.
The star, who recently became the face of Dubai Tourism, once again proclaimed his love for the city, "Thank you Dubai. Just coming here in Dubai is so nice. Coming here and shooting is amazing. This is my home and these are my guests. I keep bringing new guests every few months. I love hanging out in Dubai more than any other place in the world.

"So thank you Dubai for being so warm. I love to sit in my house (at Palm Jumeirah) and relax in the beach in my shorts. I find solitude there. Maybe tonight or tomorrow, I will invite them (team of Raees) all to my house and make eggs for them."

Here's a clip of the exclusive meeting, posted by Shaikh Mansoor:

SRK was accompanied by his co-star Nawazuddin Siddiqui, producer Ritesh Sidhwani and director Rahul Dholakia. There were whispers that Pakistani actress Mahira Khan is in the city, and it was confirmed today that she has been in Dubai since the past few days.

Shaikh Mansoor also watched the Bollywood musical show Jaan-e-Jigar with Shah Rukh Khan.
