Zakir Hussain brings Nirvana to Dubai!

These guys are a big deal in the classical music world. So, if you're a fan of Indian fusion music or if you want to develop your musical tastes this is a rare chance to see these legends live on the stage together.
The Grammy Award winning tabla maestro Zakir Hussain will be in Dubai with his Nirvana concert series on January 27 at the Dubai Tennis Stadium.

Zakir won't be alone on stage; joining him for the musical fusion experience is another legend Shankar Mahadevan along with the Godfather of Indian Jazz, Louis Banks.

And (yes, there is an and) American Jazz legend Dave Holland, winner of the Miles Davis award (Montreal Music Festival) who was honoured by the Jazz Journalists' Association as the "Musician of the Year" will perform with Chris Potter (Tenor Saxophonist of the year - Jazz Journalists' Association) to merge Western Jazz and Indian Classical in a world music phenomenon.
