Influencer Thunayyan Khalid wins Favorite Arab Star Nick Award

It may have been held virtually, but the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2020: Celebrate Together ceremony was extremely positive last night, as its regular brand of fun and frivolity still managed to shine through. Presented by Victoria Justice, the show brought together the winners via the now-custom Zoom chat and was interspersed with performances.
Influencer Thunayyan Khalid picked up the Favorite Arab Star, topping the vote and edging out other popular regional personalities like Ahmed Al Nasheet, Cynthia Samuel and Hala Al Turk. 
Talking about the win, Khalid said: "I have been passionate about capturing and documenting everyday life for as long as I can remember. When I started vlogging, I did not imagine that years later I will be where I am today. You have joined me on my journey and experienced many adventures with me. I have been fortunate enough to share my everyday life with the world, whether it was the candid moments like life abroad and cooking with friends, or the big moments like traveling to a new country and attending award ceremonies. I am very grateful to have my fans come along with me. Thank you."
