Following the Indian government's decision to extend its ban on international flights to April 14, India's flag carrier Air India has announced it will suspend all its domestic and international flights.
A source at the airline told Khaleej Times, "As airports in India will remain closed till April 15, our operations had to be suspended as well."
The airline also took to Twitter on Thursday to announce, "In view of the 21-day nationwide lockdown, Operation of all Air India scheduled International and Domestic flights stand cancelled till 11.59 pm IST (10.29 pm UAE time) of April 14. Please stand by for updates."
