Flydubai updates travel notice amid Covid-19 outbreak

Dubai-based carrier, flydubai, issued an updated operational notice on Thursday amid the novel coronavirus outbreak.
A statement issued by flydubai said that the airline is monitoring the COVID-19 situation, abiding by World Health Organisation (WHO) directives. Flydubai urged China passengers to check the various travel advisories and restrictions.
An operational notice about COVID-19 was first uploaded on February 6, 2020. The notice was updated today to include the recent travel restrictions issued by Russia

The full statement:

'We continue to monitor the situation relating to Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) closely.
flydubai follows the directives issued by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the local health authorities. We will continue to work closely with our airport and airline partners to ensure that all safety measures are in place and in line with international standards.
Please note that some travel advisories have been issued by a number of countries and may include travel restrictions. We advise passengers who have been travelling to and from China recently to check with the local authorities regarding their entry requirements.
Some of the countries that have issued travel restrictions include: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, India, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Myanmar, Russia, Sri Lanka and Tanzania.

Passengers who are affected and need to change an existing booking should send an email to letstalk@flydubai.com with 'Travel restrictions' in the subject line and will be able to rebook to another destination or arrange a refund.
