93% Dubai schools follow Covid safety rules: KHDA

Dubai - Half of the total number of students in Dubai have returned to campus for face-to-face learning.

Schools in Dubai are adapting to the new normal amid Covid-19, statistcs shared by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) show.

KHDA teams reported that they have been making 20 surprise visits to schools every day since May 2020.

About 93 per cent of schools have been following the Dubai government health and safety protocols to keep their students and staff safe.

According to the Emirate's education regulator, 50 per cent students are back in school for face to face learning, while the other half are opting for a combination of distance and in-person learning.

It has also been reported that almost 15,000 students of determination have received support during this challenging time.
