The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention on Friday reported 3,647 cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 2,770 recoveries. Twelve deaths were also reported.

The new cases were detected through 183,952 additional tests.
UAE has administered over 3 million doses of the coronavirus vaccine.
The total number of cases in the UAE as on January 30 stand at 300,661, while total recoveries are 272,769. Death toll rises to 838.
A surge in daily Covid infections across the globe has caused nations worldwide to scramble to procure vaccines and continue to extend or reinstate lockdowns to fight new coronavirus variants.
Dubai carrier Emirates has also announced suspensions of several flights amid new government directives to contain the spread of the virus. (Full list available here)
