Dubai - Oman has shut down land, air and sea borders starting December 22.
UAE authorities have urged UAE citizens in Oman to return as soon as possible after the Sultanate announced that it would be closing its land, air and sea borders starting December 22 (Tuesday).

In a tweet, the UAE Embassy in the Omani capital Muscat said: "Given the Sultanate of Oman's decision to prevent entry and exit to the Sultanate through the land, air and sea ports, starting tomorrow morning, Tuesday, December 22, 2020, for a period of a week, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation invites citizens wishing to return to return before closing the ports."
