With the ongoing coronavirus crisis having profound effects on the health and financial condition of many, the Indian High School (IHS) Dubai has offered assistance to families directly affected by the crises.
The not-for-profit CBSE-curriculum IHS group that has three campuses in Dubai - Al Garhoud, Dubai Silicon Oasis and Oud Maitha - on Friday announced it is offering "limited seats across grades to those affected by the current economic crisis" across all its three campuses.
On April 10, IHS sent out a mail to all parents as well as posted on its social media platforms that it is offering "need-based admissions".

The message stated: "The IHS Group of Schools remains true to its core vision of providing high-quality affordable education to all our learners. As a not-for-profit community school, we have received overwhelming inquiries for admissions during the current challenging economic and health scenario.
Based on this, the school management has decided to offer very limited number of additional seats across different grades for all those who are directly affected by the current health and economic crisis." Punit MK Vasu, CEO of IHS group, said: "These are challenging and unprecedented times for all. As a not-for-profit community school, we want to provide greater access to learners who are affected by the current economic and health situation for them to benefit from our high quality education at an extremely affordable fee structure."
