UAE Covid vaccine: Residents urged to get jab

The UAE’s National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) has urged residents to get the Covid-19 vaccine. The authority said the elderly and individuals suffering from chronic diseases "especially" must get the jab.

The UAE has rolled out two Covid-19 vaccination campaigns to beat the pandemic.

The Chinese Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine is available at all medical centres in the UAE, while Dubai’s free vaccination drive sees residents given the Pfizer-BioNTech jab.
