The Bahrain health ministry on Sunday reported 462 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 644 recoveries.
Of the new cases, 233 were expatriate workers and 229 new cases were contacts of active cases.
As many as 8,141 Covid-19 tests were carried out on June 27, and total recoveries now stand at 19,781.
There are currently 78 Covid-19 cases receiving treatment, of which 42 are in a critical condition. 5,366 cases are stable out of a total of 5,408 active cases.
