Parks and gyms across the country may have been closed temporarily as a precautionary measure to keep residents safe and combat the spread of the Covid-19 coronavirus, but that's no reason not to exercise.
The Dubai Sports Council has launched a 'Be Fit, Be Safe' campaign to encourage everyone to work out at home, and share the workout videos on social media platforms, tagging @DubaiSC.
The sports body has also urged people to nominate two friends to share their videos as part of this #DSCchallenge.
Dubai Sports Council is pleased to launch a community sports initiative for exercising at home, entitled "Be fit, be safe", which aims to encourage athletes and different groups of society to exercise at home according to a training program that suits every person. pic.twitter.com/ziLp71XjdCSpeaking about the initiative, Saeed Hareb, Secretary General of Dubai Sports Council, said: "The main purpose of this initiative, of course, is to urge members of our community to keep working out at home, without having to go out.
