Coronavirus: Kuwait reports 622 new Covid-19 cases, 871 recoveries

The Kuwait health ministry on Thursday reported 622 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 871 recoveries.

Two deaths were also recorded.

This takes the total reported cases in the country to 78,767, and recoveries to 70,642. The death tally has now climbed to 509.

Of the 7,616 active cases in the country, 94 are in serious condition, the ministry added.

As many as 4,337 new Covid-19 tests were carried out in the country, taking the total to 577,588.
