UAE confirmed 63 new coronavirus (Covid-19) cases on Saturday.
The announcement was made by the Ministry of Health and Prevention in a press conference today.
The total number of cases in UAE stand at 468 as of March 28.

"We thank our heroes from police, military, security in addition to the municipalities who worked on the National Sterilisation Programme," MoHAP said.
Dr. Faridah Al Hosani, the official spokesperson for the UAE health sector, also thanked the citizens and residents for cooperating with authorities by following precautionary measures.
Dr. Al Hosani urged the public to stay home for their own safety.

"Social distancing is very critical particularly during the weekend when most people gather.

"Better to socialise on social media and via the phone only."
The interior ministry spokesman said the public is urged to only leave their home in essential cases.

"Workers in energy, telecommunication, security, police, military, post, shipment, airport, immigration, banks, government media, petrol stations are exempted."

"ID shall be checked and stiff penalties will be slapped on violators."

UAE Sterilisation Program extended
MoHAP and the Ministry of Interior on Saturday announced that the National Sterilisation Programme has been extended until April 5.
