Authorities across Dubai have stepped up Covid safety inspections.
During the month of January, the Dubai Economy shut down 14 businesses and fined 213 for not adhering to the precautionary measures set to limit the spread of Covid-19.
The authority also warned 30 businesses.
It stressed the importance of following the precautionary measures and report any violation through the Dubai Consumer app. Violations can also be reported via 600545555, or the consumerrights.ae website.
