Dubai Economy on Wednesday announced the closure of one establishment in its latest crackdown on businesses failing to adhere to mandatory precautionary measures to limit the spread of Covid-19.
In its daily inspection report, the authority noted that it had issued fines to seven outlets and warnings to two others for the lack of maintaining health and safety protocols.
The emirate has been cracking down on violators of Covid-19 protocols, after a recent surge in the number of new daily infections across the country.
Members of the public who spot such violations are requested to report the same through the Dubai Consumer app.
