In the wake of intensified precautionary measures to curb the spread of Covid-19 in the emirate, the department also said the visitors must observe two-metre safety distance while inside the establishments.

For cinemas and entertainment centres, the permitted capacity is 50 per cent of the total. Gyms and fitness centres will also have to work at 50 per cent of their capacity, the department announced in its social media channels.

In restaurants and eateries, a minimum distance of two metres must be maintained between tables. In addition, the maximum number of people allowed to sit on the same table will be four, if they are not from the same family.

The department also added that wearing face masks and other precautionary measures must be followed to curb the spread of the disease.
