More healthcare facilities in Abu Dhabi have discharged their last Covid-19 patient, local authorities announced on Friday.
Abu Dhabi's Department of Health announced today that Al Ain's Tawam Hospital was now free of Covid-19 cases and has resumed normal healthcare services.
Earlier in the day, Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi was also declared free of coronavirus cases.
"The milestone was reached thanks to the consistent efforts of the healthcare sector and testing in line with the National Screening Programme, which has drastically reduced the number of cases requiring medical care."

Meanwhile, the sterilisation and Covid-19 testing programme in Al Khrair area of Al Ain is underway. The programme is being implemented by the DoH in partnership with relevant entities.
