With Dubai's Metro and bus services resuming today, commuters have been told to start early to make time for social distancing measures.

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) urged Metro riders to reach their respective stations at least 30 minutes before their trip.
The iconic Deira Gold Souk will also reopen today, according to a circular issued by the Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group.

All Metro stations except Baniyas, Palm Deira and Al Ras will operate from 7am to 11pm, while buses will run according to its usual timetable from 6am to 10pm.

Additionally, public parking will be reactivated at all zones from today.
Meanwhile, Amer visa centres will also be opened today. 
It will receive customers from 9am to 3pm.
It will receive customers at a maximum occupancy of 30 per cent from 9am to 3pm. 
Retail stores at the the Deira Gold Souk will be open from 11am to 9pm. Customers and staff will be required to wear face masks and gloves at all times.
Heightened travel restrictions were in place at Al Ras, Naif and the souk to facilitate enhanced sterilisation procedures. According to the Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group, the restrictions in these areas will be eased gradually.

What are the paid parking timings during Ramadan?
From April 26, public parking will be a paid service from 8am to 6pm and from 8pm until 12 midnight.

What about taxis?
The ongoing protective health measures for taxi rides will continue to be in place. These include limiting the number of riders to two at the back seat and maintaining isolators between the driver and passengers.

Saturday to Thursday: 7am to 11pm

Friday: 10am to 11pm

What are the timings for public buses?
They will operate as per their usual schedules from 6am to 10pm.
Won't there be any buses from 10pm?
A total of 13 bus routes (8, 10, 12, A13, 17, 24, C01, C07, F18, F21, F34, F43 and X23) will be offering services at a frequency of 30 minutes from 10pm to 6am. These routes will serve 19 public and private hospitals: Rashid Hospital in Oud Metha, Iranian Hospital in Al Wasl, Zulekha Hospital in Al Qusais; Dubai Hospital on Al Khaleej Road, Deira; Baraha Hospital in Al Baraha, Deira; Latifa Hospital in Al Jadaf NMC Hospital in Al Qusais; American Hospital in Oud Metha; and the Saudi German Hospital in Al Barsha. Additionally, the routes will serve several hospitals in Healthcare City, including Emirates Specialty Hospital, Dubai Dental Hospital, BR Medical Suites, Sapphire Day Surgery Centre, American Heart Center, Dr Riadh Hospital, Emirates Integra Medical & Surgery Centre, Mediclinic City Hospital and Dr Sulaiman Al Habib Hospital.
